Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced exclusive agreements with Panasonic, to offer the Blu-ray 3D versions of Coraline and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs with its VIERA 3D HDTVs. The deals is consumers who purchase Panasonic VIERA VT26 plasma TV between May till July will be able to receive the two Blu-ray movie via mail-in coupon.
Both of the title 3D version were authored by the Compression and Authoring Center of Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory. To make sure the highest image and color quality, both company agree and involved the film-makers in the process of encoding the movie for 3D. Thanks to this agreements, both Blu-ray 3D movie present “amazing color and image” that is true to the original theatrical release.
The Panasonic 3D TVs will be available in 50, 54, 58 and 65 inch class sizes when its out nationwide between May and June. The price approximately will be sets of $2,599.95, $2,999.95, $3,399.95 and $4,299.95, respectively. More information for the VT25 Series are available at the official Panasonic web site.
