Product Overview
The Lite-On DH-4O1S is the perfect all-in-one disc reading device for most popular media formats including Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD discs. The drive’s Serial ATA (SATA) interface eliminates potential information and performance bottlenecking by offering at least 150 MB/s information transfer rate. It reads BD-R/RE/ROM, Single-layer or Double-layer media at 4X maximum. Single Layer DVD±R or DVD-ROM can be read at 12X max, while Double Layer DVD±R and Single Layer DVD±RW can be read at 8X max. CD-R/RW/ROM has a maximum read speed of 32X.

Pros:
- Nice price for a Blu-Ray player when standalone players are $400 and up. Remember you’ll want to upgrade the software that comes with this, so add another $80. By upgrading to the newest PowerDVD 8 Ultra, you’ll have a 2.0 profile player. Very quiet.
- Won’t write to DVD. You can pay more for this or start enjoying Blu-Ray now at this low price! Make sure you have a spare SATA connection and your SATA power cable can reach.
- I added this to a system with an AMD 3800+, MSI 8500GT and Windows XP. CPU use is 50% or less when watching “”300″”.
