High - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month

Pros:
- Plays HD DVD and Blu-ray discs. Good burn times on DVD+R and CD-R. Nice firmware update utility. Slick looking gloss black faceplate matches my X-Fi I/O panel.
- As an unfortunate early adopter of HD DVD, I needed drives that would play my HD DVDs as well as Blu-ray discs. This drive fits the bill and plays both formats very well. Both Blu-ray and HD DVD movies look great on my Samsung 275T monitor. I am running a geforce 8800GTS video card, make sure you have the current drivers for your video card or you will experience problems viewing HD movies. So far I have burned a few ISO DVD image files to DVD+R discs and the burns were flawless, same when burning some of my mp3 collection to CD-R.
Cons: None yet.
