Along with some impressive technology, the ION 330HT-BD could be the best HTPC for you. The core has an Intel Atom 330 1.6Ghz CPU. The Atom 330 is a dual core, and I can say that it isn’t a monster performer, ION 330HT-BD has very low power use and is suit at home use in a HTPC. The graphic processor use NVIDIA ION chip which support of DX10 graphics and full 1080p hardware accelerated video playback. This is the answer for people that not popular with putting system together but looking to get into HTPC.
The Audio is Full 7.1 HD with DTS through the HDMI. The audio bit streaming is the preferred audio path by home theater aficionados, with “only” LCPM audio the ION is a bit lacking here. From my point is to take advantage of bit streaming and notice a difference, would be spending a lot of money on home theatre hardware.
Other specification of the ION 330HT are 320 GB 5400rpm hard drive, 2GB of RAM, Gigabit LAN, 6 USB 2.0 ports, Blu-ray ROM, a powered SATA connection, TOSLINK, and Wireless b/g/n card along with a great Media Center infrared remote that the receiver is built into the chassis, so required no set up.
The ION 330 HT-BD has a great looking black painted case, this the excess of its, ASRock also wrapped this guy with a sticky plastic to protect the paint until the system is ready to be used.
